Ridge of melting faces and the meadows of Sunrise Lodge
Esplanade dream: The view from Sunrise Lodge. I recently had 4 days of heaven in the Esplanade range, not far from Rogers Pass, where Golden Alpine Holidays has 4 lodges with Helicopter only access.

The Ridge - this ridge overlooks Vermilion Lakes and Banff on Mt. Norquay.
Another day in paradise, Yoho National Park
Winter Paradise
'Winter Two Jack' - Fresh snow made for a great morning at Two Jack Lake, I needed to clear my head and be outside for a few hours before getting back to the studio. It was a little spooky at times as the ice is always shifting. One particular cracking sound got my adrenaline racing! #banff
Crowfoot pass - the variable light from storms creates magical lighting conditions with light rays constantly sweeping across peaks and valleys. If you ever have the chance to hike here in the summer, don't pass it up! It's classic Rockies at its best for very little effort.
'Taking it back' - the ashphalt of the Icefields Parkway can't keep up with the quietly forces of nature. It feels as cold as the image looks today -33 this morning when I left for shooting!
Burnt - Went for a walk around the burn near Storm Mountain, I love how the mountains remain unchanged with so much variation in the stages of life on the forest floor

... and here's my afternoon on the same day 1100 metres higher from the Summit of Cirque Peak.
'Balance' - Nature makes some interesting shapes, this bend in Johnston Canyon is one of the classic views that I finally had the pleasure of hiking into with Darcy Evans Photography.
