Sanson's peak, standing here in the moonlight at the top of Sulphur Mtn I imagined the countless times Norman Sanson must have sat here in his weather station looking down on the town of Banff. Great night out with fellow photog legend, Paul Zizka Photography
Thin Ice - Horseshoe Lake is just days away from melting in this scene from Jasper National Park. This lake is great for cliff jumping (although dangerous) in the Summer up to around 100 ft!
'Adaptation to survive' - I suspect this tree on the shore of Horseshoe Lake has a lengthy and inspirational story of survival in Jasper National Park. I can almost feel it stretching and moving to glimpse the sun and take in it's warm embrace.
