First light on the Fall Festival - Lake Louise is unbelievably colourful right now. I love Fall! Stay tuned for a lot more spectacular images from my sunrise hike on Mt. St. Piran.

'Weathered' - the change of seasons around Larch valley is world famous, and today it was amazingly dramatic. I may have to put this one on my wall! FYI for anyone coming out this way - the larches are still changing colour about 20% up in the valley are still green

Moody Fall at Consolation Lakes - glaciers, larches, and talus all combine to make this one of the most easily accessible (3 km only!) and spectacular locations to visit during the Fall festival.

The Sawback Burn - This prescribed burn near Banff has always intrigued me. I found it difficult to find a pleasing composition in a chaotic forest of downed trees, but yesterday morning's misty atmosphere added to the drama of the area.

'Red Ring' - An explosion of fall colours above on the meadows of Mt. St. Piran. the Lake Louise Ski Area can just be seen in the distance as well.

The Larch valley - fresh snow and golden larches made for a spectacular morning in the Larch valley, the contrast of white snow with the exploding colours was amazing to see.
