Stormy sunrise in Banff - Vermilion Lakes is one of Banff's closest lakes, and photographed quite a lot, but each day seems to bring a different light that never disappoints.
Bow River and the sentinels of Canmore. I made it to this peaceful spot this morning completely by accident, a wrong turn met with explorer's determination to find a way to salvage what I thought was a mundane area for photos. One bushwhack later = crystal clear Bow River with not a soul in sight.
